Boat Maintenance Plans in Miami

Bi-weekly or monthly washdowns at your dock, with priority scheduling for urgent visits.

In Miami, salt, sun and humidity work on your boat every day it sits at the dock. A maintenance plan keeps it clean and ready to go without you having to think about it: the same detailer comes on a fixed schedule, rinses off the salt, washes the whole boat by hand and flushes the outside of the engines. Plan members also pay less per visit and get first call when something urgent comes up.

What a maintenance visit includes

Included every visit

  • Fresh-water rinse to remove salt from the whole boat
  • Hand wash of the hull sides, deck, cockpit and console
  • Hand dry with microfiber towels, no water spots
  • Rinse of the outboard engines
  • Wipe-down of seats and vinyl
  • Windows and windshield

Not included in a regular visit

  • Deep cleaning inside storage compartments
  • Wax, polish or oxidation removal
  • Chrome and stainless polishing

These are covered by the deep wash and wax built into the annual agreement below, or can be added as extras at a reduced rate.

Priority scheduling and urgent visits

Plan members come first. When the schedule is full, your visits are booked before one-time jobs. And when something can't wait, we fit you in as fast as we can:

  • A last-minute trip or guests arriving tomorrow
  • Bird droppings or fuel stains that will mark the gelcoat if left in the sun
  • Cleanup after a storm or a long weekend on the sandbar
  • Getting the boat ready before a sale or a survey

How the annual agreement works

  1. Three months with no commitment. Start with either plan and see the difference. You can stop at any time during those three months.
  2. Then a 12-month agreement. If you continue, we sign a simple one-year maintenance agreement that keeps your plan rate for the year.
  3. Deep wash and wax included. The agreement includes at least one deep wash and one wax per year. Boats used heavily get two of each. We set this together based on how you use the boat.
  4. If you sell the boat or move it out of our area, the agreement ends with 30 days' notice.

Payment

You choose: pay at the end of each month, or after each visit. Extras you ask for along the way, like a wax or a stain treatment, are billed separately at the reduced plan rate. We accept credit cards, cash and Zelle.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a boat maintenance plan cost in Miami?

At 305 Detailing Miami, a bi-weekly plan is about $4 per foot per visit and a monthly plan about $4.50 per foot per visit, versus $5 per foot for a one-time wash. For a 30 ft boat on the monthly plan, that is about $135 per visit. With the annual agreement, the deep wash and wax are included and the total comes to about $225 per month.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Not at first. The first three months have no commitment. After that, we sign a one-year agreement that locks in your plan rate and includes at least one deep wash and one wax per year.

What is the difference between a maintenance wash and a deep cleaning?

A maintenance wash removes salt and everyday dirt from the whole boat in one visit. A deep cleaning goes further: inside storage compartments, mold and mildew, stains on seats and non-skid. Deep cleaning is $15 per foot on its own and is built into the annual agreement.

Do you come to my marina or dry stack?

Yes. We are fully mobile and work at docks, marinas, dry stacks and private homes from Coconut Grove to Fort Lauderdale, including Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, North Bay Village, Sunny Isles and Hollywood.

What happens if I need the boat cleaned urgently?

Plan members get priority. Call or text us and we fit your boat in ahead of one-time jobs, as fast as the schedule allows.
