Boat Hull Cleaning in Miami

Diver bottom cleaning at your dock: algae, slime and barnacles removed in the water.

Underwater Hull Cleaning and Barnacle Removal

Clean white hull of a center console boat after hull cleaning in Miami

In Miami, the water stays warm all year, and everything under your boat grows fast: green slime first, then algae, then barnacles on the hull, props and running gear. A dirty bottom slows the boat, burns more fuel and puts extra strain on the engines.

Our diver cleans the bottom of your boat in the water, right at your dock or marina slip, with no haul-out needed. Soft pads remove algae without stripping your antifouling paint, barnacles are scraped off the props, shafts and trim tabs, and the zincs are checked at every visit. On a regular schedule, your boat stays fast and efficient, and your bottom paint lasts longer.

Hull cleaning pairs well with our maintenance plans: the topsides washed, the bottom cleaned, and a boat ready to go every time.

Good to know

Why does the bottom of my boat need cleaning?

Growth on the hull and props slows the boat, burns more fuel and makes the engines work harder. In Miami's warm water, algae and barnacles grow fast, especially from May to October.

How often should a boat hull be cleaned in Miami?

Every 2 to 4 weeks in the warm months and every 4 to 6 weeks in winter, depending on the water, the paint and how often the boat moves.

Will diver cleaning damage my antifouling paint?

No. We adapt the tools to the paint: soft pads for regular cleanings, scrapers only for hard growth like barnacles.

Do I need to haul out the boat?

No. The cleaning is done in the water, at your dock or marina slip. A haul-out is only needed to repaint the bottom.
